Before

After

Today we are going to tell you about the case of a patient who, after 10 years with composite veneers, came to the clinic looking for a solution to her aesthetic problem.
She was self-conscious about the stains her restorations had acquired over the years and, however much she tried to clean them, they would not go away.
In addition, our patient was distressed because it was impossible for her to floss, since all her teeth were joined together.
After studying the different treatment options, we decided to place 6 porcelain veneers that will not change colour over the years.
In our planning, we noticed that the wear on her teeth made her smile look older, so we took advantage of the restoration to give the teeth greater length, which allowed us to use translucency at the incisal edges, resembling the enamel of natural teeth and achieving veneers that blend in with the rest of the teeth.
Beforehand we carried out a connective tissue graft to harmonise the gum margins and give her back her smile.
Our cases are always planned so that health, function and aesthetics go hand in hand.
For the long-term stability of our restorations and the tissues that surround them, we need to instruct patients so that they know which hygiene technique is right for each of them.
