Demineralisation treatment

We act early on initial enamel lesions, encouraging remineralisation and preventing them from progressing to more advanced decay.

Demineralisation is the progressive loss of the minerals that make up tooth enamel. At the same time there is a process of remineralisation, which can occur naturally through the deposit of calcium, phosphate and other minerals from our saliva. These ions can reduce very early lesions and make the tooth structure more resistant to decay.

Many factors can alter the production and quality of saliva, which is why we always analyse its composition and properties before any treatment we carry out.

The process, step by step

  1. 01

    First visit

We assess your case, listen to what concerns you and explain which tests we need.

  2. 02

    Diagnosis and plan

We study the information and present you with the plan, the timescales and the quote.

  3. 03

    Treatment

We carry it out over the agreed sessions.

  4. 04

    Maintenance

We schedule check-ups to make sure the result remains stable over time.
